Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Since it’s October…
Listened to the Bat Out of Hell album tonight for probably the first time in 30 years. Definitely an enjoyable listen.
Basically had 3-4 Mac Ayres albums rotating a lot recently. These albums don’t have a bad track on them. I discovered Magic 8 Ball awhile ago but more recently Something to Feel has been working for me.
Below 2 full albums by Mac Ayres. I highly recommend at least giving it a chance.
Something to Feel - Great start to finish.
Magic 8Ball - Great start to finish
I’ve been a fan of Puma Blue for several years now but his new single is really interesting with a slight change in his stylistic approach. It works at least for me. Check his older stuff too “She’s Just A Phase” track is one of my Faves off Swum Baby. His Late Night Special (Full Film) is great. Anyway Here is the new track “Hounds”
Great proto- Stooges, Cramps, Gun Club, Birthday Party punk-blues.
Lately I’ve been listening to the old school jazz piano players. Always thought of Nat King Cole as a singer, but his piano playing is just as incredible. One of the best IMO.
Yep.
October 1, 1939 / Port of Hamburg - Gabriel Kahane
My at least once a month ritual of listening to Space Ritual
I enthusiastically approve of this.
I was obsessed with this album when it came out. Recently revisiting and it is still great:
Hadn’t heard this remix before, like what they did with the dark chords at 1:05
Coz this makes me feel young again & coz it’s epically good! Play loud.
Nation of language - that fine line
I have some time to kill
Just some terrific singing and traditional guitar-based music:
In my top 5 all-time favourite albums, that one.
Too young to catch the original gigs, but a few years back watched the Hawklords (made up from a rotating number of original Hawkwind musicians) play the whole set - including Nik Turner on vocals and sax, and a Lemmy-note- perfect Alan Davey on bass. Almost…like seeing the real thing…
Ooh nice, Jet-Propelled Photographs?
I have long been familiar with the MC5 and Gun Club versions, but I had never sought out the original by Reynolds (along with his other songs) Granted, some of his work is fairly generic rockabilly, but he also has several songs that have the great swampy groove and cavernous guitar of Fire Of Love.
I could listen to this all day...
...insane bass playing
Yeah man, that guy is something else
He did it again, a future classic
