    Mr Robot fans....

I enjoyed S1 of Mr Robot.

    Not so much S2.

    Did it improve for S3?

Yes very much so, I think it's the best season myself. Seems a lot more focused on the larger plot they've been doing and less about his family and delusions.

  • Recently watched the HBO series Escape at Dannemora - probably the best tv/movie show I've seen in recent memory. It's truly brilliant. Based on true story - beautifully directed by Ben Stiller (who I predict will win an Acadeny Award for directing some day). And the performances from Benicio del Torro, Paul Dano, and Patricia Arquette are all award worthy. It was critically acclaimed - but seemed to fly under the radar a bit. I've turned 4-5 people on to it who'd never heard about it and they all loved it as much as I did. Can't recommend it enough!!

  • Simpsons writers reunion with Conan O’Brien.

  • Line of Duty. So good.

Me too. I always think of it as a bit suburban, silly bloke who looks like a schoolboy in his waistcoat, but then I find my toes are clenched and I may not be breathing....

  • throw away TV - Forged In Fire, re-watching 'The League Of Gentleman' on netflix with my eldest & as many classic Shaw Brothers movies as possible ( when everyone else doesn't exclaim "no, not more kung fu" ) on amazon.

  • Yes, Mr robot gets really good! New and last season should be airing soon

  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • If you like Kung Fu fly by wire, then 'American Badlands is good'. Especially season 2 onwards.

  • These Mixcon videos are pretty sweet...

  • GoT last season, hands down :)

  • I started west world today, I dig the concept... Not to sure the story line will live up to the idea tho... Anyone vouch for it ? Should I keep going ?

Season one got repetitive at the end and dragged on for me. I won’t bother with season two.

Enjoyed season one - was excited for s2 but I lost interest about 6-7 eps in.

That's what I'm thinking after the first three episodes, great concept but seems like they are not taking where I hoped

I think I saw a clip for season2 and it was Delores and that dude in the basement AGAIN... ugh... to me the whole first season should have wrapped with a big shakeup and then season two be like a sequel. They milked that damn basement to death. Also, I am ok with brutality etc if it serves the story and character development but it just got torture-porny to me, like GOT, another one I couldn’t get past the first season. People these days are kinda fucked if you ask me. Off my lawn bitches!

  • watched Scarlett Joe hanson's under the skin , twas creepy..

  • getting ready to watch William Barr set the Bar for the rule of law right now, I doubt it will be much better than this...

  • Cobra Kai season 2. Loving it so far. Really liked season 1. Hard to recommend if you haven't seen or didn't enjoy the original Karate Kid.

It fairly deftly walks the thin line between self-aware parody / nostalgia and some very good writing and character development. It could have easily gone too far one way or the other but manages the balancing act quite well, IMO.

'Wild Wild Country' - woah, it's the mass of actual footage that really makes this amazing. I also never watched a documentary where the individuals became riveting characters in a story. Crazy good.

  • Watching...
Animal kingdom - crime family show... Pretty good if you like drama / thriller however it's not gonna melt your mind lol..

Mad dogs - pretty sweet, only watched one ep so far, but I Think it's gonna be pretty good and original concepts.

    Glow - cuz I liked season 1/2

  • I’m watching rick and morty for like the thousandth time

  • Just rewatching the last few episodes of Netflix's Mindhunter in prep for Season 2 which comes out in couple days - super excited for that!

And season2 of Succession on HBO started last night. Loved s1

And Legion on FX is on tonight - nearing the end of this series. Thought s1 & 2 were brilliant and among the best things on tv since Breaking Bad - season 3 has paled a bit in comparison I've found - but still enjoying it.
