Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

The Last Word from the BBC.

Three or four potted obituaries every week, but HOLD ON....they're really well done, they have an archive going back ages, and I learn something (often many things) from every one I listen to. Whole thing's 20-25 minutes, no ads, and highly recommended.

I should add that while they cover famous people who die, they also do folks who may have been great and good, but you may not have heard of. These are usually where the most learning comes in....

  • James Altucher is my only semi-regular listen, he has interesting guests and is very much honest with his perspectives on life and his history in repeatedly failing and rebuilding.

Jordan Peterson, someone pointed me to him yesterday.

And what a rabbit hole that YouTube viewing session turned into.

Interesting guy, not sure whether he’s a genius or a bit of a charlatan.

We choose our own sacrifice indeed, that I can buy into.
