Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

You sir, are very prolific:)
Impressive composition
Interested in the details for the process and inspiration
Great stuff, hope it does well.
@Love3quency It’s what I do.....everyday.
@RUST( i )K Thank you! Big inspiration from late 20th cent. masters. Mainly György Ligeti and Sofia Gubaidulina. Although there are bits of other influence floating around too.
“Homage to Ligeti” - composed with a very loose serial technique. Modular and Korg synths.
“Lost” - this is an improvisation with homemade coils and the KOMA field kit. One take.
“Fear has big eyes”- composed in virtualANS. This one feels cinematic to me. I will be exploring this app more.
Thanks for the ears!
@MonzoPro Thanks for the kind words!. I hope it does well too! We’ll see......
@waynerowand you've done it again! nice work. Do you plan to distribute your albums to spotify/apple music, etc?
@theartwebreathe Thank you! I’m looking at releasing on other platforms. Truth be told, I hate dealing with the business side of things.......really, really, very much. I wish I could just finish the recordings and be off to the next piece. Know a good label? Anyone?
@waynerowand I use Soundrop for my distribution. It's free (obviously they take a cut of sales/streaming revenue on the backend) and pretty easy to deal with.
@theartwebreathe Thanks for the info. I’ll check it out!
First track I've heard anywhere that gets something approaching music out of VirtualANS--well done!
@Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr Lol...I’ll take it! Thanks! Check out CoilANS for some newer work with the actual machine. Artemiev’s score for Solaris is a classic too!
the Third track is really cool...and you used virtual ANS? Cool! I have that app but I really don’t mess about with it much now days. Good work!
+1. Redownloading for another look...
@MrSmileZ Thanks! I think VirtualANS is capable of some really great sounds, in a compositional sense. Drawing absolutely made me think differently.
You’d dig iris2 a lot I think
Just bought. Cool stuff.
@MrSmileZ Yes I would! My laptop is rubbish though.
@Chaztrip Hugely appreciated!
