Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Did you do what? Repetition? No.

  • Interesting, thanks. I try not to repeat phrases too often because it becomes boring to me when I'm composing. I would say it's almost irritating.

  • I thought all the examples used in the video were awful, so that kind of undermined the message. Although I do agree that chart music has got progressively more awful over the last 50 years. In my opinion, yours may vary, not trying to start a war.

This is a very good point. I didn't quite get that part of it. I guess they were gauging it based on the "most popular" mainstream hits.

  • I think this is something that is uniquely contradictory in regard to house music.

The repetition in traditional classic house is dependent upon a verbal repetition to tie guide the ride so to speak.

The words set the emotional stage, albeit the tenor or content, the beat, bass, and synth then manipulate those originally perceived moods to the point of utter betrayal or exhilaration of the original "vibe" of the vocal repetitive hook.
