    I have a Korg microkey air 37 and Akai mpk mini.
    Love the Korg for the convenience of wireless and portability. Prefer the feel of the keys to the Akai.
    The Korg microkeys feel pretty good and are just slightly wider than the Akai.
    Also, 37 keys is the sweet spot for me to still be portable yet allow me to play 2 handed stuff.
    Keep in mind I hardly use th e pads on the Akai, so if they are important to you, the Korg has none.
    More keys would be nicer sometimes, but then it losses out on portability. (I have 49 and 61 full sized keys connected to my desktop, and I have used them with the ipad, but they aren't really portable - and require CCK).

    i have the Korg NanoKey Studio,love it , with it you have lots of control.

    I have an LPK25 Wireless and it's stable but not exciting. The built in arpeggiator is good and the keys are just fine, but with no pitch or mod wheels, it's pretty limited. They sell it as the perfect companion for the LPD8 Wireless but the pads actually sit about a centimetre lower than the keyboard, the LPK is a few centimetres longer than the pads, and the shapes of the boxes prevent you from pushing them right up to one another. I ordered both at the same time online so I didn't realize how lazy the designers had been until it was too late.

    I'm happy enough to stick with it but not happy enough to recommend it. If given the choice I would get a MicroKey Air 37

    I bought the Akai online in Thailand about when I was living there about 4 years ago and the Korg online in Australia late last year.

    Can't help much with US stores, sorry

    Honestly the CME Xkey air is the best wireless controller I’ve had, but it’ll set you back a bit since it’s not cheap (I didn’t see cheap on the requirements ;) ). But it’s the only keyboard where, for me, it’s not noticeable that I’m playing a portable keyboard. Only thing is that it’s a little wide to fit in a 13” laptop bag since the keys are full size. I still wouldn’t trade it for anything.

    It has a sustain button, but honestly I don’t expect to use sustain with a travel keyboard. That’s just one of the trade-offs with portability.
