Export MIDI from AB3 MIDI lane?
Right, here's what I want to do.
Run Ripplemaker through the AB3 MIDI effects plugins and then export the output MIDI into BM3 rather than to an audio source.
Is that possible?

Yep. You need Midiflow Adapter for Audiobus 3 by Johannes Doerr

You then put Midiflow Adapter in the midi output slot and make sure that "MF Adpater Out 1" is enabled as a midi input in BM3 and set up the bank or pad midi input to the same.

Do I have to load BM3 in AB3 or/and do I have to load a plugin in the bank.
BM3 doesn't have to loaded in AB3. Buf you do load it, be sure to put it in the Audio, not MIDI tab. No, you don't have to load a plugin in the bank.
