Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

It's in the German appstore already: „Future Drummer“ von Luis Martinez

Looks interesting enough. The acid test for me though will likely be discovering whether or not it has a manual or if I am to be prodding, poking and sliding for a while before packing it in and going back to one of the other in the pile. I will always have room for more drum machines that sound good- are malleable and easy to operate.
It doesn't look to me like you can actually write your own patterns- but I think this is part of the point of it?- so it is not really a drum machine in the traditional sense?
It mentions 'filters' in the video- but not in the app store.
Yes indeed that link did the trick. Thanks.
You can edit the patterns or write your own from scratch, your choice.
Looks too good to pass up I think!
Looking forward to running with the new synthmaster one when it comes out.
Looks out of instabuy territory @€19,99. Not going to jump on this too quickly, even though I'm a big fan of all the other lumbeat apps.
Cant wait ! Bought supermetronome today !
I bought it. This is exactly my kind of app as a non drummer who always struggles with making anything but the most basic beats
Just gave it a quick run through AB3 into Cubasis and everything worked as expected
Thanks- sounds good (I am with Munibeast with this one- at £19.99- I need to be sure) but my purchase-o-meter needle is starting to twitch. Could you tell us a little more of how you find it ?
This is brilliant, I will have a demo out very soon, you can edit everything, one of the things I love about Luis's app are the JAM feature
Pretty intuitive so far. It's really easy to mix and match sounds. Lots of patterns to choose from and easy to make your own. I think i counted 28 build in kits. It's not just EDM either, there is hiphop style patterns as well
Great- thanks- you both seem well taken by it. Looking forward to the Sountestrooms (is it Doug?- I didn't recognise the photo ) video
so it does have sample import?
No idea about import, by scratch I meant from the available samples .
Is host sync any better? I've never been able to get the other apps in the series to sync with Cubasis
okay good grief Charlie Brown, I give up.
With midi out and note mapping, you can play your own samples in the app of your choice.
As a midi beat source it is pretty awesome. I love sending it out to NI Battery on the laptop.
um... that would be the app itself, having to send midi out of a beatmachine app into another beatmachine app just gets on my nerves, not looking for the most unnecessary experiences when I'm making music. Ofcourse when I'm looking for something like that it's a different story.
Yep. Just sayin it's there. Whether the tradeoff is worth it is up to the individual.
I hear ya, I own all of his other apps just think its time for me to stop bothering him about audio export and sample import for his drum machine apps, it's not making either of us happy.
Pants of Death has uploadet a demo
Should anyone be interested
Yes, because his other drum apps are also top notch.
Liking the look of the extras and interface changes compared to his previous apps.
