Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Midi is pretty universal so it should be fine!

Bluetooth works but latency is a bit lame. Also works over WiFi but similar issues. Best solution so far is lightening cable and the free MIDI LE app.

  • I've never been so excited to hear something sound so aweful! Sorry, just listened to a Don Rickles interview. Seriously, I'm beyond impressed at the level of expedited feature request implementations and continued dedication to simmering the awesome sauce.

  • So this will export audio stems? Or midi???

  • I'm more interested in midi between apps on the same device, and ultimately within AudioBus 3's framework. Hoping very much that core-midi at a minimum is supported, which I'm guessing is part and parcel with what you're doing already, but wanted to chime in because, midi to PC/Mac isn't of any interest to me at all at this time.

Send midi notes and commands live to other apps and devices.

It will support core midi so you can send midi between apps as well as to other devices :)
