Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

  • An old iPhone 4s cost more or less and you have tones of apps available to make the same and more. This kind of projects need to be cheaper to get true interest.
In the same price range I will go for Korg Bits or directly Volca boxes before.

  • Yep, looks interesting, but too expensive ($100 for an audio card?). I like Pure Data and everything DIY, but for two hundred I can buy new iPod Touch and use dozens of music apps I already have.

But if you want to build something unique, then it may be a good solution
