Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

  • All I asked was is there anyone in Vallejo on the forum?

  • Weirdness goin on, maybe there's a glitch in the matrix, anyways I'm on a mission from God. I'm trying to buy this synth but the guy will not mail it under any circumstances.

I'm looking for someone who can mail it to me, I'll make it worth your while.

wow, are any of you 158 viewers near vallejo?

  • I live in Wisconsin, so no. Wish I could help man!

  • thanks anyway :) , I live in Los Angeles and this guy was talking to me for two days before he decided he didn't want to mail it. He said he'd been burned before by sending an instrument and not receiving payment.... I think he might have gotten upset cause I asked him who does that?.... of course I'd send the money first but he's like nope, I'll only put it in someones hands

    That's just weird.

  • I know..... if he had just said it up front It would of still sucked but whatevs, but after two days of talking I'm a bit miffed, it's a good price for one in the immaculate condition that his is, and he gave me a 100 off at first :(

I mean I usually just leave the money on the dresser for afterwards, but you were offering to send him the cash up front....can't ask for too much more.

  • :D
I use PayPal, don't know what the deal is but I told him I'm the one taking the risk

  • might be the universe trying to tell me something but all I want to hear is that synthesizer hahaha

I can understand this a little. If you're paying via PayPal, you could later say you never received the product and PayPal will reimburse you first and put the burden on the seller. Potentially a huge hassle.

Private sellers can be very private in the sense of odd

Might reach out to @johnfromberkeley as he's in shooting distance of SF. At least his handle is.

  • What's the synth?

you know I was tempted.... it would be the third time I had gone to frisco for synths, I just don't have the juice this time. I'd bring Marcos anything kind of flowers he wanted for an update

I didn't know that, well it's good to know since it's what I use, but not good in this case I guess

I've to the point that if I'm buying or selling, I'll only do it local, in person, at a public space like Starbucks, and then cash only.

  • I've never had a problem with craigslist but I've always been willing to provide any assurances needed and people have always been open with me as well when I bought something.... thieves usually raise allot of red flags

I've never been burned to be honest. But Photographers and Artists selling online are popular targets for scammers so I'm a little more paranoid and/or vigilant about online transactions.

That being said, I sold a Suzuki 650 motorcycle online to some dude in New Zealand. Even picked him up at the airport and put him up for a night before he rode off for Alaska. Whole thing when down without a hitch and made a new friend in the process. :)

  • good story. well it's behind me now, went from getting a $100 discount off asking price from the San Fran guy, to paying a $150 more and having to wait a bit longer for Japan, but at least it's coming with a free case and less problems.

  • I've been burned selling a synth via PayPal. Guy said that a few keys didn't work. I offered a full refund and to pay for return postage because I know that eBay instantly refunds the buyer and lets them keep the gear if you don't offer 100% refund and postage costs. Suprise, surprise the synth started working fine a few days later..

What pissed me off is the synth was mint, I overpackaged it and gave the guy an awesome price and he still tried to scam me.

When I googled the guys details I found out he ran a recording studio.. wasn't just some faceless nameless dude but reasonably well known

  • Sorry, I was out of town and didn't see this till now

  • :) no worries, ended up grabbing one from japan, just have to wait a bit longer.
