Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

City of Dreams

This is a remix of an old midi file (from 1987!) that I thought I would update in Cubasis, using mainly Bismark Bs-16 sounds and a Thumbjam Sax. Unfortunately, my iPad 2 is showing the strain and some parts appeared to drift out of time so I did my best to correct it by splitting the longer audio files and manually positioning them!
A bit laborious but it does sound much better than when played straight on my PC with the internal sound card! :)

  • Amazing choir...is that a standard bis sound..and nice cello..

  • Pretty cool.

  • Thanks! :)
Yes, Doug, it is the Concert Choir from bis16. This is the first time I have used bis for a tune and it certainly won't be the last - I have plenty more old midi files that could do with a makeover! :)
