Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

FLEKSI - Hi Up Yea

I wonder if you can spot it. There's another neat Samplr effect trick I've learned recently. Enjoy and look away if you don't like disco grooves ;)

  • Beautiful work here. Thanks for sharing the vid. Did I read somewhere that you've got a new studio too?

  • Nice, enjoyed this. Cool dial twiddling at the end.

  • Another nice fleksi track. Don't know if you like being compared to others, but reminds me of Underworld , good vocal layering and fx with a nice infectious groove

Ha yes. This is it! Celotex insulation and chipboard for walls (existing blockwork externally). I put all courtains everywhere to deaden the room to get better drums sound. Still a work in progress, especially in the warm decor department. It is a bit industrial at the moment ;).

I find the endings by far the most challenging part of a song/jam. Dead stab on the one is the best cure but at times a reverb soak and a closed LPF does the trick. It is important not to panic!

Thanks. Last time someone compared my stuff to Brian Ferry so Underworld's bound to be an improvement, if only in 'being fresh and contemporary' department.

I don't really know them. Any albums to recommend?

^@Supadom, This is a nice live session @kcrw, shows how they both operate, this is around the 'Barking' album so is most of the tracks from that along with a few others.

    More recent live in Berlin

  • This is so cool and very inspiring

Thanks. Interesting stuff. I'll look up their other stuff, albeit I'm not great at listening to other people's music lately.
