Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

iTunes library effects?

in an AU app description it says: " apply multi effect to any song in your iTunes library"

How does that work? Can you play iTunes songs into a host app like AUM, and apply effects? How do you do this?

Comments

  • Easy enough: In AUM, load 'File Player', into an empty slot. Using AudioShare, import the tune/song from your Music Library that you want to use. Load this file into the File Player, and apply effects to your hearts content. Have fun!

  • ah, thank you. It was the AudioShare part that I didn't know.

    Pretty complicated, but it works.
