Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
MOAR Thumbjam patches?
Why don't they exist? are they that hard to make, and specifically make so that they sound good? Just curious.

What kind of stuff do you want?
You mean like new samples?
@sonosaurus the multi-layered patches are great, I'd love to see more across the board :-)
And more pianos, electric pianos, pads.
And honestly I wish there were an easy way to import patches without iTunes. iTunes destroys my happiness nearly every time I open it
Maybe something like "open in..." For a zip file?

Word. Other devs please take note of this.
A genuine meathook of a juicy, beefy, bass. Ive tried a couple of the free add ons you offer and the presets and they just dont have that mmmph........too honky or casiotone-ish. Have tried ifretless and a couple other apps to no avail. Just a normal fender/music man type bass with some balls would be spiffy. I would pay and if it was a good bass i suspect others would too. Keep up the good work..
Agree iTunes sucks life out of the universe
I'd like lots of synthy flute type sounds or lots more synthy wind instruments. That type of sound goes well with the playing interface
I'm amazed at the lengths I will go to just to avoid iTunes. Only Facebook rates higher on my "things I hate beyond all reasonableness" scale.
Well, that and politics.
'Tis the season.
ThumbJam has supported open-in of ZIP files since the beginning! They can contain instruments, or samples, or loops or scales....
I don't think I've used iTunes for anything in a long time. Although usually I use the TJ wifi transfer feature to import and export things.
Well, that is good news @sonosaurus I've got to try it.
And I think we all feel a bit better having had the chance to vent our feelings about iTunes!
@sonosaurus apologies for us all hating on de iTunes while simultaneously trying to scrounge some more sounds off ya
The thing I need is a piano with presence. The grand and the upright options sound good solo but disappear in a mix. Anyone have a piano sample that really cuts through a mix?
Various Regions or Genres may be an idea. I'd pay a couple bucks as well.
"Cajun Pack"
Harmonicas
Accordions
Washboards
Mouth Strings
"Japanese Pack"
-analogous selection of New Orleans type instruments but only from Japan... ..........etc.
You may be able to actually cross over a lot of the Drum Jam stuff and only need to add a few really. Depending on how you bundle it.
Nice Jazz Fender(60's or 70's) Bass be nice.
