Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
Apps using force touch?
I only have force touch on my iPhone but I haven't noticed any music apps utilizing it other than ThumbJam and DrumJam. Are there others?
Or do you have force touch ideas you want to share with developers who may happen by? Once more devices have it, I could see it being really useful for all sorts of things, not all related to playing an instrument but shortcuts and the like.
Seems like force touch is almost always a hidden feature but, unrelated to music, I stumbled upon a cool use: in a text area like posting on this forum, push the space bar down and you can move the text cursor around fluidly as if using a trackpad/mouse.
