Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Setting tempo

Open letter to devs.

Dear devs,

On your interfaces, please allow for numeric input of tempos.

Thank you.

:-)

Just spent about a minute trying to zero in on a specific tempo with a slide your finger across the screen interface.

Seems this thread happens two or three times a year on this forum. Each time, I emphatically plus 1 it.

Also seems like this is exactly the sort of thing that should be solved already via a single 'tempo input' library that some kind developer puts up on github to donate to the betterment of iOS music making. Numeric entry, bump/step entry down to 1/100, and tap tempo wrapped in a single objective-C friendly module that can be skinned to match your app.
