Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Cubasis -> MIDI

edited March 2016 in App Tips and Tricks

We have both Audiobus and Cubasis and would like to export the MIDI file composed in Cubasis. What would be the recommended way to do so? The Cubasis is only capable of saving its own format (*.cbp) and it needs the Desktop version to open this project file, which is not the option for us now.

We are thinking of routing the MIDI the signal (MIDI-OUT) from IN(Cubasis) to OUT(?), like this:
IN: Cubasis
FX: (pass)
OUT: ? <---- need recommendation for an appropriate app

What will be the recommended OUT app? It should be compact and efficient, enable to save MIDI files, since Cubasis is already resource intensive.

Thanks.
