Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.Download on the App Store
Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
How Hard Would it Be to Create a Basic SFZ Player APP?
It occurred to me that it is entirely possible to edit and create SFZ sampled instruments completely from within the iOS environment using text files. It would be really cool if there was an app that supported a basic subset of SFZ Opcodes and could read the SFZ format. That would basically be giving us an SFZ sampler. How hard would it be for a developer to build something like this? Things that would be useful, would be a built-in text editor, OpenIn, Audiocopy/paste, IAA (instrument), AU, Audiobus, and Ableton Link. Hehehe, it seems like all the standards needing to be supported would be the most difficult part of the whole thing.
